Make This Easy Spicy Chicken Pulao By Madhu Bindra

Welcome to my kitchen! Today, I'm sharing my secret recipe for a delicious and easy spicy chicken pulao. Trust me, it's a crowd-pleaser!

First, heat oil in a pan and add whole spices like cinnamon, cardamom, and cloves. Let them sizzle for a few seconds to release their flavors.

Next, add chopped onions and sauté until they turn golden brown. Then, add ginger-garlic paste and cook until the raw smell disappears.

Now, it's time to add the star ingredient - chicken! I prefer using boneless chicken for this recipe, but you can use bone-in pieces too.

Cook the chicken until it turns white and then add chopped tomatoes. Let it cook for a few minutes until the tomatoes are soft and mushy.

Time to add the spices! I use a mix of coriander powder, cumin powder, red chili powder, and garam masala. Adjust the spice level according to your taste.

Once the chicken is cooked and the spices are well combined, add soaked basmati rice and mix well. Let it cook for a few minutes.

Now, add water and let the rice cook until it's almost done. Then, add chopped coriander leaves and mint leaves for a burst of freshness.

Cover the pan and let the pulao cook on low heat for 10-15 minutes. Once done, fluff it up with a fork and let it rest for a few minutes.

Your easy spicy chicken pulao is ready to be served! Garnish with fried onions and serve hot with raita or any side dish of your choice. Enjoy!
